Item #MP-FHB1: This lubricant injector (by Morningstar Tooling Products) allows you to pump your favorite oil or grease into Shimano freehub bodies to lubricate internal bearings and parts, at the same time flushing out old grime and goop. The result is smoother operation and longer freehub life. Works with tubes of oil or grease, squirt-type oil cans, grease guns, and even a basting bulb! (Grease not included, but also check MP-FHDS for a good option.) Fits all Shimano Uniglide and Hyperglide freehub bodies EXCEPT 1986-1990 Dura-Ace models and Shimano 10 speed models. PLEASE NOTE that the use of this tool requires the removal of the dust cap from the freehub, and since Shimano dust caps tend to be fragile, we recommend having a REUSABLE replacement dust cap on hand.
