Item #LS-1701PD: Made by Sunrace for use on frames that do not have a built in derailleur hanger. This item clamps onto the right, rear dropout, and then you can bolt the rear derailleur onto it. It is sometimes used on frames where the built in derailleur hanger has been stripped out. Please note that the hanger is BLACK in color (not as shown); bolt and nut are silver. If you have a frame with a stripped out hanger, also consider using a Wheels Manufacturing dropout saver, our part number WB-DS2, generally a preferable way of dealing with a stripped out hanger.
