Item #LS-HG7: A Shimano 7 speed Hyperglide cog set is comprised of 7 slide-on cogs and a lockring; this cassette does come with the Hyperglide lockring that holds the cassette onto a Hyperglide cassette hub. You can select from the following list of Hyperglide cog sizes to build your own custom Hyperglide 7 speed cassette: First position (smallest cog), choose from 12 or 13T. All other cogs, choose from 13, 14, 15, 16 Uniglide, 17, 18 Uniglide, 19, 21, 23, 24, 29, 30, 32 and 34T. (The 16 and 18T Uniglide cogs will work with Hyperglide, but because the UG cogs have "taller teeth," make sure that the next larger cog is at least two teeth bigger than the UG cog.) If you select a 13 or 14T cog for the second position (second smallest cog), it will come with a built-in spacer. If you select a 15T or larger cog for the second position, it will come with one loose cog spacer. OTHERWISE THE COG SPACERS ARE NOT INCLUDED; YOU WILL HAVE TO REUSE SPACERS FROM A CASSETTE YOU HAVE THAT HAS INDIVIDUAL SPACERS. (In other words, not a cassette that is built onto an aluminum carrier.) If you use a 4.5mm spacer (our item WB-NCS4.5), you can install this 7 speed cassette on a Shimano 8 or 9 speed cassette hub. PLEASE SPECIFY WHICH COG SIZES (NUMBER OF TEETH) YOU WANT IN THE COMMENT LINE WHEN ORDERING. Cog colors vary between silver, chrome and nickel, depending on availability. SORRY, NO CHOICE OF COLOR.
