Item #LS-UG7: Uniglide 7 speed cassettes use a thread-on cog in the first (smallest cog) position and the other six cogs slide onto the freehub body; COG SPACERS ARE NOT INCLUDED, YOU WILL HAVE TO REUSE SPACERS FROM A CASSETTE YOU HAVE THAT HAS INDIVIDUAL SPACERS. (In other words, not a cassette that is built onto an aluminum carrier.) Uniglide cogs are scarce, so we have modified the inner spline of Hyperglide cogs to fit onto a Shimano Uniglide freehub body. This custom cog set is compatible with all Shimano 7 speed Uniglide cassette hubs, EXCEPT FOR Dura Ace. It is NOT compatible with Shimano Hyperglide style cassette hubs or freewheel style hubs (please see the FREEWHEEL tab for freewheel style hubs). Cogs come loose. Slide the cogs individually (along with your spacers) onto the freehub body. They will be held in place by the thread-on smallest cog. Cog colors vary between silver, chrome, black and brown. Select from this list of Uniglide and Hyperglide cogs to create your own custom cassette (Hyperglide cogs are here designated by the letter H after the number of teeth): First position (thread-on cog), choose from 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 or 18. Other positions (slide-on cogs), choose from 13, 14, 15, 16, 17H, 18, 19H, 21, 22, 23H, 24H, 29H, 30H, 32 and 34H. PLEASE SPECIFY WHICH COG SIZES (NUMBER OF TEETH) YOU WANT IN THE COMMENT LINE WHEN ORDERING. SORRY, NO CHOICE OF COLOR.
